As the Chairman of the Sancheti Group of Hospitals, Dr. Parag Sancheti has played a pivotal role in shaping one of India’s most respected orthopaedic institutions into a globally recognised centre for excellence in patient care, education, and research. An internationally acclaimed knee surgeon with over three decades of experience, he specialises in total knee replacement, sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, complex knee reconstruction, and lower limb deformity correction. His expertise has earned him appointments as an Orthopaedic Consultant to the Ministry of Health, Oman, while his clinical and academic work regularly takes him across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America. Dr. Sancheti has trained at leading institutions in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Germany, and the United States, and serves as Visiting Faculty at the University of Dundee (UK) and Visiting Professor at McMaster University (Canada). A passionate educator and researcher, he has authored more than 105 peer-reviewed publications, several acclaimed textbooks and textbook chapters, and has delivered over 200 invited lectures in more than 30 countries. He has held leadership positions across numerous national and international orthopaedic organisations, including the Indian Society of Hip & Knee Surgeons, Indian Arthroscopy Society, Asia Pacific Knee Society, Asia Pacific Arthroplasty Society, ISAKOS, SICOT, and Bone & Joint Decade, reflecting his enduring contribution to advancing orthopaedic surgery worldwide.
