Dr. Kailash Dilip Patil is a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee & Hip Surgeon at Sancheti Hospital, Pune, specialising in joint replacement, arthroscopy, and sports injury management. With extensive national and international training, his expertise includes primary and revision knee and hip arthroplasty, sports medicine, ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery, and pelvi-acetabular trauma. He serves as an Associate Professor of Orthopaedics at the Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation and Professor of Orthopaedics at the Sancheti College of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation. Dr. Patil has completed prestigious fellowships in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Greece, and the USA, including the Ranawat Orthopaedic Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), New York, and is a Fellow of the European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA). He is an active member of leading international and national orthopaedic societies, a regular faculty at major conferences including ESSKA, ISAKOS, IAS, APAS, and the Ranawat Orthopaedic Conference, and has authored several peer-reviewed publications along with a chapter in the internationally acclaimed book Why Knees Fail by Prof. Michael Hirschmann.
